Single vs multi

During our business building journey we noticed how some folks wrinkled their nose when they asked, “Is your business multilevel?” Like it’s a bad word or something. We don’t get it. The tone’s all wrong, like they’re judging us for daring to think beyond the ordinary. Let us break it down for you, in a way that cuts through the noise.

Here’s the deal: there’s a framework for how money flows in this world. On one side, you’ve got the folks trading hours for dollars, employees and self-employed types. They work hard, punch a clock or hustle solo, and get paid once for their effort. That’s single-level thinking. You do the thing, you get the paycheck, and that’s it. Sounds safe, right? But you’re capped by hours in a day, and last I checked, nobody’s inventing a 25th hour. It's not a bad thing, it just is.

Now, flip to the other side, business owners and investors. These are the folks who get paid multiple times for one effort. Build a system, create a network, or invest in something that keeps paying you, whether you’re clocking in or sipping coffee on a balcony. Multilevel marketing fits right here. It’s not about selling a product once and calling it a day. It’s about building a team, creating a network, and getting paid on multiple levels of effort, not just your own, but the efforts of those you’ve empowered. Why would anyone sneer at that? Does a sales manager earn bonuses from their sales teams effort? Yes, that is like multi-level, same concept.

Think about it. Single-level marketing is like choosing to carry buckets of water one at a time. Multilevel? That’s building a pipeline. You do the work, maintain the pipeline, and the water keeps flowing. The negative tone comes from folks stuck in that employee mindset, scared of anything that sounds “too good.” But here’s the truth: wealth isn’t built by playing it safe or small. It’s built by leveraging systems, people, and time.
